Can from Brewers Haven. Aroma is sweet, pumpkin, roast grains. Taste adds some of the pumpkin pie spice, very mild, not enough to cover the base flavors. Smooth and tasty.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce nitro can into pint glass, best before 1/18/2018. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, gingerbread, light caramel, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pumpkin, spices, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, gingerbread, light caramel, and herbal earthiness. Very mild herbal/spice bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, gingerbread, light caramel, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a while. Good balance and solid robustness of pumpkin, spices, and bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness. Light carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is okay. Very thin/watery feeling finish. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very solid session pumpkin ale. All around good balance and solid robustness of pumpkin, spices, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Nice pumpkin fruit presence for the style, but underwhelming otherwise. A fairly enjoyable offering.

Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, clove, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread/crust, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, pumpkin, and spice notes; with great strength. Taste of big pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, clove, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread/crust, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal/roast/spice bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, clove, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread/crust, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, pumpkin, and spice flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.5%. Overall this is a delicious pumpkin stout! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, pumpkin, and spice flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy finish. Not super roasty for a stout, but really adequate. Helps showcase the spices better too. The pumpkin fruit and spice presence was exceptional. Great balance with the base beer without overdoing it. A very enjoyable offering.

It pours from 12oz bottle a deep brown/amber with a good 1 finger head of offwhite foam...good head retention for the entire session.
The smell is of roasted malt and some caramel malt and some citrus(?) but it's on the light side.
The taste has a good roasted malt kick initially but then it takes a turn towards more of a burnt malt character and I'm not finding that too pleasant. In the background, there's a bit of a citrus thing going on that also isn't contributing positively to the flavour. The mouthfeel is light and it finishes slightly bitter but right near the end, watery.
This is not a particulary good example of the style but I'm glad I got a chance to try it.
