Jammy raspberry. Cloudy reddish with a decent white head. Light soured raspberry and a clean finish. Simple, but as it should be.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy dark red with a small white head. Aroma brings out muted raspberries upfront, with gentle lacto, and some wheaty notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with gently tart raspberries upfront, light wheaty notes, and a little lacto. Gentle raspberries on the finish. Decent stuff.

On tap. Pours an opaque black with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of bready malt, milk chocolate, caramel, toffee, light roast and coffee. Sweet flavour of chocolate malt, toffee, licorice, prune and light ash in a dry finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Very nice, ABV is well hidden.

Dark brown, with a big head. On the nose, big phenols...yikes. I mean there is some toffee sugars and a bit of nuttiness. But that's a big dominant whack of up front phenols. On the palate, the phenosl are still getting in the way. Just not happening. Yikes. I mean, there's a beer under there, but yeah, infected.

473mL can, pours a deep dark brown with a large beige head. Aroma is loaded with phenolic notes, with tons of burnt rubber - yeuch. Flavour is no less unpleasant, with burnt rubber - this is a pure phenol bomb. Nasty.
