Keg at the brewery, 1/14/23. Hazy straw yellow, large white head, average retention. Aroma of wheat and lemon. Taste is doughy malt, lemon, lime. Moderate tartness, bright. Nice.

Keg at the brewery, 1/14/23. Tried three vintages. Some variation, but each year is the same recipe. Other than the cherry version and maybe one or two others over the years. Tried 2019, 2021, and 2023. All were amber to brown with a slight haze. Similar aroma across all three. Cherry, dates, toffee. Some apple in the 2019 and some earthiness in the 2023. Taste is much the same across all three, with some herbaceous notes in the 2023. Probably the notes that fade as it ages. Overall all warming with mild booze. Nice beer. Score is a combination of all three. 2023 1st place, 2021 second, 2019 third.

Keg at the brewery, 1/14/23. Clear bronze. Expected this to be a Black IPA based on the name. Oh well. Medium beige head, average retention. Nice lacing. Aroma of pine, lemon, pale malt. Taste is lemon, grapefruit, pine, pale malt. Well balanced, clean. Tad bit thin. Throwback. Nice.

Keg at the Tied House in Little Chute, 8/28/22. Clear amber, large white head, good retention. Aroma of dank, pine, grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit, resin, pine, passionfruit. Strong bitterness. Very nice. Best beer of the mini tour yesterday.

Sample sample at the 2022 Ales for Trails at Bubolz Nature Preserve, 6/11/22. Hazy orange large fizzy white head, good retention. Aroma of tart peach, peach skin, bready malt. Taste is peach, lemon. High carb. Very nice. Best new beer at the event (though little can compete with the McFleshman's 547 I sampled at the next booth).

Bomber shared at the 3/13 PS tasting. Signed by all the brewers and shared with one one them. Can't know for sure but probably the second to last bottle in existence. And man it held up. Clear amber, no head. Aroma of stone fruit, cherry, booze, raisin. Taste is raisin, oak, booze, cherry. Full bodied. Booze present but blends well. Slick. Very nice.

Nutty caramel malt and fresh hay aroma. Dark amber with small head. Lightly sweet nutty caramel malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body.
