Dark red with a small soapy white head that faded quickly. Tangy with tannin, dark fruit and fruity hops. Long finish. Medium body. Hopped mead - always a bad idea.

OK, had this a cobblehaus. Its very clear to the eye., barely a tint of yellow. Smell is certainly green candy apple. A little watery up front. But, apple does carry into the taste. Green that is. A little lighter, like its watered down a little, but you expect that with some domestic brands, you know, cost and such. Good stuff, but it could have been a little more dense in the end. Thanks cobble.

This mead poured an orange-honey color with a large foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was overwhelming tannin. The flavor was sweet with a very strong tannin presence that obscured anything else they were trying to do with this one. Long finish. Moderately full body.
