Bottle A- Moldy, cocoa, burnt toast. A- Dark brown color, cloudy liquid with floaties, minimal head. T- Brownies, chocolate, roasty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly sweet finish. O- The only part of this beer that has breakfast in it is the appearance where it looks like someone spit their breakfast into the glass. Full of nasty looking floaties. In fact, one of the worst looking beers I’ve ever had. No head either. The aroma was pretty bland and not very welcoming. Thankfully the taste sort of made up for it. Lots of cocoa and brownie batter tastes.

Bottle. A- Tobacco, leather, roasty, burnt caramel, chocolate. A- Black color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Tobacco, leather, roasty, bakers cocoa, dry. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- Had to look these guys up. A random new brewery from a random small town not too far from me. I must say, this is the first I’ve had from them, but I’d like to try more now. Tons of tobacco and leather throughout with a dry slightly bitter chocolate. Nice. Probably didn’t give this the rating is actually deserves.

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at Cork and Barrel 23rd Street in Lawrence, Kansas. The pour is brown to black with a small amount of light tan head. The aroma is roast, a whisper of char along with some caramel milkiness. The taste is very much the nose, with roast up front, transitioning to caramel milkiness towards the back. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the sweet roast coffee finish. Solid.
