At the July DC tasting. Poured an amber color with a small fizzy off-white head. Aroma wasbitter, burnt malt notes. Flavor of sweet malts. Lots of fizzy notes, over carbonated.

From a bottle at the DC tasting July 10, 2016. Pours a cloudy borownish copper with an ecru head. Flavors of grass and cardboard. IPA? I don’t thinks so.

12oz glass at 1874 Taproom pours a clear gold with some frothy, white head. Nose is fairly mild, some grist, some honey, floral too, mild spice, mild lemon, a pleasant orange zest. Flavor follows, orange zest, honey, grass, straw, light pepper, some lemon. Dry finish. Extremely drinkable.

16oz pint at Nuevo Mundo at Parque Kennedy pours an extremely murky dark orange with some lightly lacing white head. Nose is odd, soap, some cheese, earthy, yeast, orange, hints of spice. Flavor is chewy with grains and straw, perfume, herbs, honey, mild lemon, a bit tannic with black tea. Finishes astringent and tannic. Very odd.
