Clear pale yellowish beer, big irregular white head, not very stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, bit metallic. Aftertaste: bitter, metallic, grains, hay, bit grassy, hoppy, dry finish.

33cl bottle. A clear pale golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of mild grassy hops, pale malt, some straw. Taste of mild grassy hops, straw, medium bitterness.

bottle from Lindenbräu Getränkemarkt Meßstetten. Hazy deep brown with a creamy beige head. Fruity nose. Yeasty amd malty, with banana, plums and some shy marzipane. Full-bodied, malty and sweet, yet not too sweet but very well balanced. Smooth, velvety carbonation.

(swing top bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, golden colour with a lond and short foamy head. Moderately yeasty, slightly doughy malty aroma with traces of biscuits and a whiff of herbal hops in the background. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Doughy and mildly yeasty malt character with mildly hoppy spice; moderately sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish with herbal and delicately woody notes. 07.I.15

bottle from local Rewe. Clear straw-coloured yellow, mid-sized white head. Grainy malty flavours dominate, some shy, grassy hops in the finish. Decent Helles, well drinkable.
