bottle from Schlecker-Getränkemarkt Ehingen/Donau. Clear golden colour, large white head. Malty nose. Malty, slightly fruity (lemon) with rather shy hoppy notes. A rather mild beer, but not at all boring. A beer that is sold in stylish modern bottles following the German Goldbier trend. I expected this to be a flavourless brew, which it didn’t turn out to be. Good one!

Bottle (by kind permission of Stefan !): Golden, lively carbonation, smaller stable creamy head; sweet grainy nose with a touch of toasted malt and some hops in the second row; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; short sweet dusty-grainy finish with the faintest tinge of alcohol in the aftertaste. Not bad, well quaffable...............

50cl bottle: BB 07/08. Pours hazy yellow with a lasting white head & lacings. Aroma is wheat, banana & citrus. Smooth mouthfeel. A bit thin, some grain & corn - a bit unpleasant & past its prime I think!

(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a big, moderately lasting foamy white head. Sweet and bready caramel-malty aroma with light notes of herbal hops. Sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Bready malty taste with no extravaganzas; medium-dry, moderately sweet malt-accented finish with a shy hoppy bitterness (26.06.08).
