On draft at the brewpub in Boulder CO. Pours black with a tan head. Mild roasted malt nose. Flavors of coffee and licorice. Medium bodied. Smooth finish.

Draft @ GABF 2013. Pours a golden color with a white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit finish.

Draft. Pours cloudy yellow with white head. Nose and taste of salt, bacon and smoked wheat. Touch of sour wheat. Medium body.

Draft at beers made by walking. Pours opaque grapefruit juice. White head. Nose and taste of honey, brett, banana, wheat malt and grassy hops. Medium body.

On tap @ Fate. Not sure if this will be merged but I believe the two versions were brewed at different facilities for what it’s worth. Pours a dark rust orange appearance with a thin white head. A bit syrupy, toffee, herbal aroma. Fairly fruity, blood orange, caramel flavor with a warming finish but not boozy really.

Tap @ Boulder Strong Ale Fest 2013. Pours a reddish orange appearance with a thin, light brown head. Fairly fruity, cherry, plum, grape, sweet caramel aroma with some booze noticeable. I enjoyed the flavor as it tasted like a sweet, somewhat boozy doppelbock and great notes of caramel, toasted malts and a fair amount of fruit. Kind of a cool beer though it is somewhat boozy.
