Good coffee porter, with healthy amounts of semisweet chocolate, coffee cherry, nuts, dark fruit, espresso, and roast. Finishes somewhat fruity--the lager yeast becomes apparent in the fade--with a lingering char bitterness. Nice pint.

Juicy, but more sweet than citric, with a sugary backbone offering candied fruit notes overshadowing the more palatable bright grapefruit/stone fruit veins you want in the style. Honey, tea, and wet malt lead to a modestly bitter, slowly cloying fade. Eh.

More sweet than anything, with a sugary tangerine-apricot middle accented by tart guava and passion fruit, underlined by corn-tinged grain notes and a SweeTart-ish finish. Rough goings.

12 oz. can. Pours a hazy, light orange color, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is orange juice, pine sap, light perfume, and vanilla. Sweet and juicy, with a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a bit of heat and acidity. Solid and citrusy IPA.

Very sweet, enough to make me think there's plenty of lactose in here (even though it's not listed as an adjunct), with an immediate burst of milk chocolate followed by coconut, almond, bitter chocolate, anise, black cherry, and vanilla. Finishes with a hit of condensed milk and dark roast coffee. Not bad, definitely get the Almond Joy vibe, but gets way too sugary as it warms.

Taster at Liquor Express. Pours black, with a small, fine, beige head. The aroma is espresso, dark chocolate, black bread, caramel, and pine. Sweet and slick, with a nice touch of bitterness. Medium body, with a syrupy, chewy palate. This is an easy and flavorful porter.

Grainy, corn syrup sweetness backed up by pineapple, grapefruit, mandarin, and wort. Too much residual sugar; no IPA--especially not a single IPA--should ever be this sweet. Grows cloy and vegetal on the back end, with notes of chive and wet malt on the sweet fade. Tastes like bad homebrew, to be honest.

Weird amalgam of melon, pineapple, and chive, with wet malt and vegetal notes adding a funky, unfinished sweetness. Very rough around the edges flavor-wise, but the creamy texture is nice, and there’s no hop-burn. Pass.
