About
Pigeon Head Brewery was founded in May of 2014 with the inclination to brew traditional German style lagers. As our love for lagers grew, so did our desire to explore the many other styles that craft beer has to offer. Over the last few years, we have pushed the limits with our rotating seasonal selections. Our flagship lagers will always have a special place in our hearts as our passion grows to find the next exciting beer that will test the boundaries of craft beer.

Can: Poured a brown with orange hues, head was tan. Aroma is sweet and spicy, rich malts, licorice. Taste is rich malts, light dark fruit, bready, little tang.

Can on the train from High Wycombe to Bingohame, thanks to SHIG, 10/09/2026.
Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is dried fruit rinds, herb, raisins, cocoa sprinkle.
Taste comprises ashen tones, tangy fruits, cocoa sprinkle, charr.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close.
Decent for the style.

Draft at Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse. Pours really pale yellow gold with decent white cape. Hints of sGe, malt, grassy hop, a little bitterness. It's OK

16 oz can from Total Wine - Las Vegas. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Decent lacing. Mostly pale malt aroma with a slightly souring note. Very basic lager taste with some light sharpness in a drying finish. Thankfully not sour tasting. Light body and easy drinking, yet not much pilsner malt flavor. Medium carbonation. Low bitterness. A no frills, repeatable light pilsner.

16 oz can from Total Wine - Las Vegas. Pours a pitch black color and root beer colored highlights and a small beige head with fair retention. Almost no lacing. Dark malt and light coffee aroma. The flavor is very dark roasted, almost charred, with a short, slightly metallic finish. Simple profile and easy drinking except for the finish. Almost really good.

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours clear ruddy amber with a moderate tan head. Aroma of roasty malt with some rye spice. Med body. Dryish. Bitterish. Very ryeish. Lots of rye spice. Good stuff.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light sweet citrus and grass with some mango underlying. Flavor has light sweet grains and citrus with a bit of grass, mango and light sweet grains backing.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear dark amber brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy dark grains and cinnamon with a bit of unmet coming through. Flavor has cinnamon and earthy coffee with some dark grain backing.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear dark amber brown with a gray head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dark grain and bread with a hint of sweetness underlying. Flavor has earthy bread and dark grains with a hint of roast supporting.
