Shaker pint draft at Martin City Brewing Company Pizza & Tap in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a copper golden ruby with almost no head, it was a very full pour. The aroma is caramel toffee malt, some black cherry fruit and floral. The taste is a rich caramel malt, slight toffee some of the black cherry from the nose, all with a present floral taste. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the sweet malt floral finish. Solid.

Shaker pint draft at the Mission Farms location of the Martin City Brewing Company Pizza and Tap in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is an opaque black brown with a minimal dark khaki head. Leaves behind more lace than was expected. The aroma is roast, char malt, coffee and even more of the roast. The taste is the roast malt, soft char flavor, the light coffee and then finishes with a dry mineral with more roast. The palate is medium to light bodied with active carbonation and the dry mineral roast finish, with char in the after taste. Nicely put together, clean and easy to drink.

8 oz draft at the Martin City Brewing Company Coast to Coast Pub in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a clear golden with only the lace of a white head. The aroma is fruity, fruit stripe gum, a little bit of cereal malt behind the fruit. The taste is the fruit stripe gum, bubble gum, a sweet cream and a bit of the cereal malt closing it out. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and a clean finish. Interesting, though not entirely my thing.
