12 oz can purchased at Lukas Liquors in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a dark brown black with a ¾ inch foamy khaki head that falls quick. The aroma is sweet caramel, coconut and roast malt. The taste is caramel sweetness up front, followed by vanilla, coconut and closing with the roast malt that has a hint of char to it as well. The palate is medium to heavy bodied, with soft natural carbonation and a lingering coconut roast to the finish. As the beer warms, the alcohol is present and warming. Nice take on the style.

Shaker pint draft at Brass Onion in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is an opaque black brown with a small khaki head that leaves behind thick lace. The aroma is toast and roast malt, cinnamon, and sweet maple syrup. The taste is big maple syrup sweetness up front, followed by spice of cinnamon and nutmeg and the malt toast notes behind. The palate is medium to heavy bodied with soft carbonation and the maple syrup lingering in the finish. This was very much a doughnut stout. Too sweet for my tastes, though for folks that are into this sort of thing, it was well made.

16 oz can purchased at Lukas Liquors in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a thick creamy black brown with a stable two inch creamy nitro khaki head. The aroma is char roast, a bit of cream sweetness and coffee towards the back. The taste is char roast coffee, moving towards pine hop and finish with creamy nut soft sweetness. The palate is medium bodied, nitro silky mouthfeel and a dry mineral char finish. Exactly what I want from a nitro stout. Hopefully this will become a seasonal release, or even more frequent!

12 oz can purchased at Ranchmart Liquors in Leawood, Kansas. Canned on 010619 stamped on bottom of can (I believe that is what it says). The pour is a brown copper with a ¾ inch darker khaki head that is lasting. The aroma is clean milk chocolate with grain malt, pine hop towards the back. The taste is chewy chocolate, mix of dark and milk chocolate, with nice bright roast, and finishes dry with a shot of the pine hops. The palate is medium bodied, active carbonation and the clean roast mineral pine finish. Tasty stout.

Shaker at the Mission Farms location. It's an American take on the style. It too clean, too cold, and too carbonated. A decent American brown and mild mix.

Draft at Mission Farms location. I like 100% brett beers but not barrel fermented because the brett turns much more sour. Not the herbal floral beer I want but actually a bit acetic. Decent but wasteful.

22oz bomber. No date. It's a beer that could have so many problems but none were present. Not astringent, not boozy not barrel heavy, not overly sweet, and not overly fruity. An English style with low hoppiness and a toasted toffee chewy malt flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can from RobertDale poured into a glass. Slightly hazy golden with huge white head. Aroma is floral hops, light body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is malt, some what spicey rye, yeast with clove hints, and floral hops.

10 oz goblet draft at Martin City at Mission Farms in Leawood, Kansas. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a two inch billowy white head. The aroma is fresh floral hops and some general funk. The taste is the funk, dry leather balanced with the floral hop. Clean and tasty. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a dry finish. As mentioned in the description, this felt very much like a Brett beer.

8 oz half pint draft at Martin City at Mission Farms in Leawood, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden with a foamy one inch white head. The aroma is perfume, bright sweet and spice rye. The taste is the sweet malt, citrus fruit, lemon peel and the rye in the finish. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation and a mineral rye finish. Solid.
