Shaker pint draft at Jack’s Stack in Martin City, Missouri. The pour is mostly clear golden with a minimal white head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is citrus, pine and a hint of toast, roast. The taste is a nice clean, balanced Pale Ale with citrus notes, pine and a cracker malt. The char roast is present in the flavor too, not sure if that is the beer, or the surroundings! The palate is medium to light bodies with soft carbonation and a clean softly bitter mineral finish. Easy drinking beer.

12oz can. Unfiltered amber-burgundy body. Pretty clean and drinkable, perhaps a pinch of amber malt? Not unlike Ommegang Abbey. Respectable enough offering.

12 oz can purchased at the Martin City Brewing Company Pizza & Tap in Kansas City, Missouri. Canned 8/17/17 stamped on bottom of the can. Brown Ale #100 rating. The pour is a mostly clear brown, copper perhaps a hint of ruby with a well formed one inch light khaki head. The aroma is clean nutty malt, bit of roast char. The taste is the nuttiness of the malt, soft caramel sweetness (particularly as it warms) and finishing with the roast char. The palate is medium bodied, natural carbonation and a roast dry mineral finish. Clean, delicious brown.

Shaker pint draft at the Martin City Brewing Company Pizza & Tap in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a hazed yellow soft gold with a small white head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is a nice soft lemonade, along with the tea and malt grain towards the back. The taste is the grain of the Sideways plus all of the traditional flavor of an Arnold Palmer. The Lemonade sweetness, the crisp tea bitterness, all nicely mixed with the base Ale. The palate is light bodied with bright active carbonation and a lemonade finish. Fun and easy drinking.

The pour is a hazed orange golden with a fizzy one inch white head that falls slow with nice lace. The aroma is fresh hay, soft leaf, a bit of clove yeast, all delicate and nicely balanced. The taste is fresh hay and leaf of the nose, with the clove yeast and citrus juice.
