On tap at Exile, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of banana upfront, with soft wheat and a touch of floral notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with banana, light clove and wheaty notes. Authentic enough, I just don't really like the style. Estery, banana-y finish. Alright.

On tap at Exile, pours a clear pale golden blonde with almost no head. Aroma brings out plenty of lacto upfront, with seltzery notes and a touch of citrus tang. Flavour is along the same lines, with a ton of yogurty lacto dominating, with moderate citrus tang and gentle acidity. Yogurt bomb. Not exactly refined but it's pleasant.

I got a six pack in November and hoped to write about Ruthie herself, but that's been delayed. Let's get to this. As a "golden lager," it's pretty apparently their mainstream beer. I appreciate, though, that it's a deeper gold than the usual pale lager. Smell is a little sweet, though, with a bit of hop in the background. Taste has a bit of that sweetness, too. That does make it kind of hearty and filling. I'd like to have seen a bit of a dryer finish, but I'll try to get to a fresher version and see if that doesn't change my view.

From my wife: purchases as G.G., which appears to be the name of this now... according to their website. Pours a reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, dark fruitinsss in small supply. Sweet. Low hoppiness. Nice flavors. Smooth and easy to drink. Did what it should do.
