Draft @Exile. Lightly hazy yellow, no head. Aroma is mild lactic acid, tart lemon, sour wheat. Flavor is spot on the style. Very tart finish in a light body. Mild carbonation.

Draft @ Exile. Clear yellow lasting head retention. Good amount of citrus aroma with hints of pale grain. The body is light with a grainy texture. The hop profile is plentiful in citrus ( grapefruit, lemons, and citrus peel) has a dry pith texture. Nice.

Cloudy golden color, no head. Aroma is light German yeast, mild clove, hints of pepper. Flavor is spot on the style yet mild. Plenty of Yeast presence, banana and clove to boot! Medium in body with a fruity yeast finish.

Draft @ Exile. Slightly hazy gold, no head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, sugar, mild fruits. Flavor is pretty good showing for the style. Yeast gives a fruitiness and provides the base of the brew. Sugar that is found in the finish with warming alcohol after the swallow.

I had a lovely time at Exile but looking at the abv’s i can see this is where i started getting drunk. nice deep ruby pour. nose of cherry and caramel. tastes of cherry, caramel, medicine, toffee, earth. chewy mouthfeel and some hop kick on finish. pleasant

Draft at the brewpub they apparently changed their recipe semi recently. orange pour and fruits and hops on the nose. tastes of pine, grapefruit, caramel, touch of honey slight booziness. medium bodied fine carbonation.

Recommended by a woman i befriended at brewpub. fine hazy orange pour. nose is vanilla, bubblegum and hay. tastes of hay, wheat, bubblegum, banana, vanilla. overall nice carbonation and not too sweet. very pleasant

Tap at the brewery. Light cloudy yellow pour small sudsy head. Nose is lemon and lacto. Tastes of lemons, white wine, yogurt, honey and plenty tart. Fine crisp palate and puckering finish.

Listed on menu as Exile Flatbed Midwest Pilsner. Draft at the brewpub in Des Moines, Iowa. The pour is a clear golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is cereal grain, softly sweet with herbal notes. The taste is a pleasant blend of the cereal grain malt and the herbal grass. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and a clean finish. Solid straight forward clean Pilsner.
