12 oz Tulip draft at the brewery tasting room in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a hazed orange copper with a smallish white head. The aroma is clove yeast, along with some sweet malt. Pretty muted nose. The taste is sweet floral, herbal clove, yeast esters and additional fruit banana sweet towards the back. There is also an almost soapy quality to the finish. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the lingering banana clove yeast. I prefer my Saison’s drier and less sweet.

The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a mild bitter grass finish. Some mineral peeks out in the aftertaste.
