Bottle at De Prael. Almost clear golden. Sweet malts, wort, grassy, soft fruity notes. Medium sweet and less bitter. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Too much like wort for me.

Bottled (as Saense Tripel, from Biertonne). Honeyish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is alcohol, spices, some sweet malts and mild floral tones. Flavour is fruity, some alcohol, spices and mild nectary tones. Sticky sweet finish and aftertaste.

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van rook, wat houttonen en wat ananas, mango en honing.

Can, 8.1%. Weak fruity and piney aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour has paper and overripe fruit. Distinct bitterness and a mild alcohol presence which is pleasant enough. Faint pineapple notes in the finish.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een amberkleurig bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van sinaasappel en kardemom. De smaak is kruidig en warm met een typische kardemom smaak in de afdronk.

Shortlived light-cream head over copperish redbrown beer, almost clear. Cardamom, cookies, bit of camphor, other sweet spices. Cardamom, citruspeel, aniseed, in definitely too high concentrations. Bit of meaty esters too, somewhat pharmaceutical. Sticky, gluey despite not very high density. Medium carbonation. Overspiced, full stop. Txs to B&T for the gift!
