Bottle @ Armin’s bachelor party. Thanks Caleb! Pours a hazy pinkish appearance with an off white head. Somewhat tart raspberry, lemon, bubbly, somewhat funky, barnyard aroma. A bit juicy but quite nice, full raspberry/seedy, light cranberry, well carbonated, a bit citrusy, lightly funky, lactic flavor. Pretty tasty stuff. Thanks again to Caleb for opening this baby late in the night.

GABF 2012. Multiple tastes. Pours a cloudy reddish appearance with a tan head. Tons of pie cherries in the nose with a light herbal and woody elements. Juicy pie cherry, fairly tart, a bit juicy flavor. A nice alternative to New Glarus Belgian Red. Great stuff!

On tap at the brewpub, December 2011. Black beer with heavily roasted malt in the aroma, with Belgian yeast. More yeast in the flavor, along with the malt, and here, some wheat. Almost like a dunkelweizen. Some pepper on the back of the throat and mild Belgian spice in the finish. The lacing head lasts until the end of the beer. A weird beer, but it works.

Tap at Fitgers, December 2011. Good malt and grain, with some caramel. Lightly sour grain in the finish. Low carbonation, very English character to this beer.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is quite dank with note of onion and pine backed by some sweet grains. Flavor again has a good amount of onion and pine with some underlying sweet grains.

light, thin, lacks banana or any sweetness or characteristic spices. looks great, bigh white head and opaque orange, otherwise a complete failure, rare for fitgers.
