At the brewery. $10 for a 13 oz pour, I was in a good mood but would not normally pay that much. Amber color, some red in the light. Dry, some malt sugar, alcohol is in the flavor and the aroma, but not so much on the palate. Well hopped, dry, some ceral grain. Good; i would have liked it more if it were sweeter.

Tap at the brewery in late October. Opaque, dirty brown color. Low carbonation, yeast in the aroma, earthy and dry, I get some lacto, lightlhy tart, but dry yeast as well that reminds me of brett. The pumpkin is there, but not sweet with heavy pumpkin pie spices like so many. an unusual beer that worked.

All Pints North 2016. Brown color. Caramel and grain character, a little sweeter than most of the beers from Dusseldort, but the it is good flavor. A malt forward beer, hops are there but in moderation. They did a good job with the style.
Earlier Rating: 10/14/2015 Total Score: 3.5
Tap at Lupine. They got the apprarance right, brown color. Carbonation seems appropriate. Aroma of malt and some worst. A little sweetness, followed by dry grain flavor. Maybe a little sweet but otherwise solid.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has an interesting combination of cayenne and red wine with dark grains and roasted malts supporting. Flavor works well with dark grains, cayenne and dark chocolate melding with a dry red wine note.
