12 oz can purchased at Lunds & Byerlys Wines & Spirits in Golden Valley, Minnesota. The pour is clear golden orange with visible carbonation bubbles and a well formed one inch white head. The aroma is soft malt, caramel and corn, along with a hint of grass. The taste is the malt, softly sweet caramel, bit of vegetal corn, and the grass character dries out the finish. The plate is light to medium bodied, action carbonation and a clean dryish finish. Solid Cream Ale, certainly could be a gateway from macro lagers.

Pours a clear, amber-copper, with minimal head. Aroma is fairly grassy with a tinge of hops. Flavor also quite grassy, some slight hop bite in the finish. There’s a bit of sweetness--fairly balanced. Pleasant beer though nothing earthshaking.

Full pour at CHS field watching Saints baseball. Dark orange color. Not much head, and I wonder if the day’s extreme heat has something to do with that. Hop aroma and flavor and there is malt balance. Good flavor, some light dryness that makes me think of the pale ale style but enough hops to keep it in the ipa category. Good.
