Bottle. Apple/pumpkin malt and heavy cinnamon aroma. Hazy burnt orange with a minimal off white head. Apple/pumpkin malt and heavy bitter pie spice flavor. Body on the heavy side of medium, soft carbonation. Yet another brewer who doesn’t understand what good cooks know. When working with some spices, less is more. The pie spice overwhelms everything in this beer.

At Beer Dabbler 2016. Dark brown color. Lots of coffee in the aroma and the flavor, and it is by far the overwhelming character. Heavily roasted malt quality as well, dry, I am surprised to see it classified as a sweet stout.

22 oz bomber purchased at Saint Anthony Village Wine & Spirits in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is a slight haze orange golden with a little bit of an off white head. The aroma is grass, hay, bit of citrus and dry cracker malt. The taste is the dry grass, light bitterness, some of the citrus and an underlying cracker malt. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a bitter dry finish. Solid, balanced IPA.

Sampled from the tap at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is grassy with some pils yeast and a bit of sweet grain backing. Flavor combines sweet grains and grass with some crisp pils yeast underlying.
