On tap @ Dangerous Man. Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with an off white head. Piney, slightly oniony, light garlic, grapefruity aroma. Somewhat sweet, candy/smartees, mango, somewhat spicy, a touch bitter hoppy flavor. Well balanced. Pretty good.

On tap @ Dangerous Man. Pours a bit hazy dark orange appearance with an off white head. Oniony, spicy hoppy, a touch grapefruity aroma. Fairly dry, lemon/grapefruity juicy, cracker, oniony, a touch resiny hoppy flavor. Good beer.

On tap @ Dangerous Man. Pours a bit hazy reddish orange appearance with a tan head. Really heavy vanilla candy, herbal, a touch fruity aroma. Weird herbal/grassy/tea, vanilla, cookies and cream flavor. Weird but not hard to drink.

I agree with the previous comments. This is an exceptionally good ipa. Loads of citrus and fruit, including apricot and peach flavors. Very much hop-forward, with minimal malt character. I am sure the IBUs are high in this beer, with the hops giving a mild burn and a dry finish.

At Dangerous Man. Black of course and surprisingly well carbonated. Rich flavor of sweet chocolate and rich malt. Exceptionally smooth palate and for an imperial stout, it is something I could drink all night. Excellent.

Summer 2013. Rating from notes. One of the better tripels I have had from an American brewery/brewpub. Sweet with lots of malt and sugar. some spice but it is light, and well hopped for the style. Good.
