Description
2025: New location, opening soon.
Bad Beat Brewing opened in July 2014 by Nathan Hall born out of his love of poker and craft beer. Never one to shy away from a gamble, Nathan sold his house and spent every dollar in his bank account to fund his dream. A Bad Beat in the poker world means you’re the underdog and starting a craft brewery in Las Vegas is definitely against the odds.

Taster at brewery. Hazy golden pour, small head, lacing coats the glass. Welcoming hoppy Aroma, taste too is very gentle and approachable. Grainy with a distinctive hops bite. Pale ake on steroids

Taster at brewery. Gentle aroma build to a stronger taste, that strangles the palate at the finish Hoppy to a fault, but could use a touch of smoothness to sand down the rough edges

Taster at brewery. Ale straw golden, small cap of head. Aroma and taste both lean on the grain bill, tiny hops bite at the end. Closer to a lager than a pils.

On tap. Pours a clear deep amber with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, biscuit and floral hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, biscuit and grapefruit with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A nice amber.

Draft at the Yard House. Nice looking pour, murky amber body with small creamy head. Subdued malty aroma leads into a much fuller taste, trailing bitterness catches your palate at the end. Decent amber.
