10th July 2016 with the RBESG guys in Barcelona. This was on tap at Abirradero. Black bodied beer, light brown head. Roasted malts ruled both the nose and taste with coffee notes being the main flavour from those malts, some chocolate and other Imp Stout stuff like vanilla and liquorice could also be found in this fairly alcoholic brew.

33cl bottle on 4th Aug 2016: brought back from the RBESG in Barcelona and shared with minutemat. Lot of sediment in this wheat beer, hazy light amber body, white topping. Spicy and wheaty with an orange peel flavouring in the bitter hop taste. Different and almost interesting.

330ml bottle shared with blackhaddock in his man cave. Pours hazy amber, small white head. Aroma is pithy orange. Taste is bright, soft and flavoursome, hints of orange and caramel, light bitter finish. Ok.

Bottled at Örebro Ölcafé, Örebro. Dark brown, huge head. Asphalt, molasses and lychee up front. Sweet with full body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Coffee, molasses and licorice, some grapefruit. Resiny bitter finish. A bit rough.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a tiny white head. Subtle, fruity aroma. Medium body, an initial malt sweetness followed by a hollow yet aggressive bitterness without any aromatic qualities. raw and unrefined. 020816

0.something something sized container that's disguised like a calf medicine bottle. Twist cap and everything! A dark black stoutish look on this one. I can't really remember what I was expecting, but not really this. A big brown head on the top. Smells roasted. Some coffee, some really fresh hoppy tones also. Almost grassy. Yeah I like this aroma. Soft on the mildly prickling carbonation and thick oily in the mouth. There's Lots of dark charred burned flavors. Vanilla, brownies and its roasted all the way. Really flavorful. Sunday, 10th July 2016. Sat outside Abirradero, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: on-tap. Golden pour, clean and clear: white head. Mild grainy nose with some hop fruitiness in the background. Taste flicks the aroma around, more fruitiness, less grainy. Decent.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at NaparBCN. Can hardly read my notes here, probably due to the ABV of the previous beers more than this one - but an overall score of 13 must mean that the beer tasted somewhat better than horse piss. Hazy golden colour. Funky / "horse blanket" aroma. Sour flavour with brettanomyces notes.

What a pleasant name for a beer: On-tap in BierCaB Barcelona on 9th July 2016: with the RBESG guys. hazy, lazy golden pour, thin white topping. Farmyards and horse blankets in the nose, sour and citrusy in the taste. Not really my thing.
