Sample at Arizona Strong Beer Festival 2019. Hazy golden/orange with a small white head. On the light side with hops, citrus and some malt. The finish was on the dry side. A bit boring to be honest.

On tap at the brewery. A hazy straw coloured pour with a thin white head; yeasty aroma; yeasty taste with a sweet grainy body and a touch of orangey citrus in a dry finish. A definite Belgian influence, but rather heavy for the style.

On tap at Granite Mountain, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of lactose and toasted malt. Flavour is smooth, with lots of lactose and toasted malt in great balance. Milky and creamy on the palate. Very nice stuff.

On tap at Granite Mountain, pours jet black with a small tan / brown head. Aroma brings out light smoked malt and toasted malt. Flavour is well-balanced between the smoke and toasted malt. Bone dry palate, with zero residual sweetness. Nicely constructed stuff. Not overly interesting but it's easy drinking for the style. Solid.

On tap at Granite Mountain, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry resinous hops, bready malt and a little caramel. Flavour is malty for an IPA, with resins, earthy notes and toasted bready caramel. Doesn't feel very IPA-like, more earthy and bready malt heavy. Okay.

On tap at Granite Mountain, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, toasted dry caramel and earthy notes. Flavour is identical, with a very earthy and bready caramel quality. A bit muffled and lacking complexity. Meh.

On tap at Granite Mountain, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of resinous hops and caramel bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with robust resinous hops and dry toasted bready malt. A much hoppier amber, leaving a bitter astringency on the finish. Very good.

On tap at Granite Mountain, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light wheat, barely any bananas and a little clove. Flavour is definitely off, with some earthy stale notes dominating. Don't get the usual clove of banana in any way. No good.
