Description
It all started with brothers Carl and Mark Nolen and Brewmaster Kirby Nelson. Three Wisconsin born-and-raised regular guys who share a passion for the Badger State - its friendly people, bountiful resources, rich brewing heritage - and the idea that drawing on all of the above is the key to creating some really awesome beer.

We started brewing in August of 2013, setting off a perpetual motion machine of new brew creations that show no sign of stopping. Our top brands include Badger Club Amber, Red Arrow American Pale Ale, Chocolate Lab Porter, Yankee Buzzard IPA, Beer Frame Pilsner, Betray Ale, S'Wheat Caroline, Patron Saint Oktoberfest, Porter Joe, Wiskator and Depth Charge Scotch Ale.

Come and enjoy a pint (or two) afterwards in our Tap Room or Backyard Bar. We have free, outdoor concerts every Friday night from May through September, and other fun events throughout the year. Our Brewery is kid and dog-friendly. We do not offer food service, but outside food is welcome.

Aromas are malt with notes of caramel, floral, vanilla and nutmeats. Flavors are somewhere to nose with brisk carbonation helping to balance. Decent amber beer.

12 oz can to glass at Third Coast Provisions in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The pour is crystal clear Amber with a small white head. The aroma is honey sweet malt along with some nice grass. The taste is clean, nice softly sweet malt and the drying grass towards the back, nicely balanced. The palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and the dry grass finish. Easy drinking beer.

Super hazy golden and light straw coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall pure white head that fades pretty quickly, but leaves a light lace on the sides of the glass. Aroma of strong yeast, wheat, curacao and a dash of bubble gum and only a touch of pineapple here, but a lot of sweetness noticeable, in the nose, at least. Medium-bodied; Strong pineapple, wheat and especially sweet notes with a lot of richness from the grain somehow here, but the honey and caster sugar flavours get a lot of sweetness and bring it forward with the fruits with a lot of curacao notes towards the end and some notes from the yeast strain here. Aftertaste shows a pretty rich pineapple and wheat note fro the style with a lot of malts, but a good deal of balance from the fruits and the sugars all ending with a good softer, clean bite from the wheat. Overall, a nice, fairly sweet (for the style, especially) beer that has some relatively fresh pineapple notes, but the wheat richness and especially yeastie finish brings out a nice level of flavours to this that are probably nice in Wisconsin Summers, but perhaps a bit too rich for the hot summers down South here that would be a bit too cloying for the season; however, in January when the weather is still 70degF somehow, this works! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Hy-Vee [grocery] in Madison, Wisconsin on 08-August-2021 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 03-January-2023 when the [winter] Weather was way too hot for the day!

44 cl can @ home Aroma has sweet bourbon tones, liquor and alcohol. Flavour has bourbon tones, licorice, sweet whiskey tones. Also alcohol and wood. Slightly too boozy and woody but not bad still; works as a slow sipper.
