22oz bottle pours a bright, garnet amber with some creamy, white head. Nose has dates and raisins, malt, yeast, booze, some marzipan. Flavor is sweet, marzipan, nougat, raisin, booze. Full bodied, sticky finish.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a golden orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was berry, with some herbal and smoked malt notes. Flavor was wheat, berry, and a touch of herbal character. Interesting, but a touch harsh.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a very cloudy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was some spicy grain notes, earthy hops. Flavor was earthy spicy hop notes. Coriander? Okay.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma was light grassy notes, some mild citrus. Flavor was light lemon, earthy notes. I think I like the old Slake a little better.
