Deep copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, very fast-dying off-white head. Aroma of malt, honey, light resin, a dose of flowers and grassy hops with some light fruits and a dash of caster sugar, while not offering much more than that. Medium-bodied; Strong nutty and earthy malts at first with a light dose of earthier hops, showing a light sweetness from fruit and also a dry and almost airy bitterness from the hops without much malt support and sadly, no complexity and while I'm not sure how this cracked over 6,0% abv, I'm not sure it's even that. Aftertaste shows the grainy qualities with more malt than hops and a twinge of sweetness from the sugars, but nothing else, especially in terms of deep flavours or hops - this is fairly bland throughout. Overall, a decent, if that, 'typical' IPA that somehow got 'Imperial' Status, but doesn't deserve it - nor is worth trying at all - this is bland throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Towson, Maryland on 27-May-2019 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Washington on 07-July-2019.

Roast and some vanilla. Dark brown pour with decent head and lacing. On the border of tasting like there's some contamination here like not washing your hands in the malaria ward. Some caramel.Light sweet finish with some bitter snap. Tall can.
