Pours black into a snifter. Mocha conglomerate head with excellent retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Dark chocolate, pine and resin aromas. Sweet chocolate syrup upfront turning to a deep pine resin middle before returning to chocolate covered pit fruit before a lasting grapefruit finish. Quite a long going on...and very good.

22 oz bottle. Shared with LiteWait. Nice ruby pour with hints lighter hues around the edges. Looks like iced tea in the glass. Small thin head that leaves lacing along the glass. Grapefruit hops in the aroma. Very Hoppy. Possibly cascade hops and a little bit of malt. Pretty light mouth feel with very light carbonation. Quite a bit of bitterness in the finish. However I am not a hoppy beer person. So maybe its not so bitter. Should this be labeled an IPA??

Bottle. Murky maroon color. Smells like shoefly pie that you get in Amish country. Taste is extremely sweet and syrupy, with butter, molasses and spice.
