Description

Weinig nasmaak.

Bottle shared at tasting. Opaque black color, average sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts and a hint of green plants. Flavor is malts, grainy, coffee, heavily roasty, lingering bitterness of the malt mainly, but also in that lingering bitterness there are some plant-like flavors which annoys me. Still, pretty useful as a plain RIS I'd say. Maybe the amount of the different grains needs to be tweeked a little but definitely useful.

Bottle at home. Very dark brown with small but long lasting light brown head. Chocolate, licorice, soft rye, creamy malts, cognac, lots of sugar and caramel, coffee candies, bitter herbs, light booze, soft tar and ash. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied with thick creamy feel. Pretty tasty stuff, has a bit of everything but not in a bad way. Yum.
