Tap at Sidedoor. Hibiscus certainly adds a mild fruity edge. Pink hued orange body. OK. Not really that great of a Wit or a Fruit Beer. Dry aspirin touch from the hibiscus. Medium bodied. Not really my favorite.

Not a bad milk stout. Average appearance. Aroma is roast, cocoa, coffee, vanilla. Flavor’s like nose, although perhaps reduced a touch due to its slight thinness and low carbonation. Nice finish.

On tap at City Works. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots sweet grains, light citrus and some Belgian yeast. Flavor has sweet grains, sweet citrus and Belgian yeast.

12oz bottle. Quite an unappealing aroma...green apple, odd pine sol lemon. Hazy attractive enough yellow-tan body. Thin, glass rimming white head. Odd final product, I can sort of see where this was going, maybe in the grissette direction, but it doesn’t really work, maybe odd hop choices. I like that is is cleanish, not sugary or sticky, not such dominating yeast tones either. Grew on me some, but not really that impressive of an example.

Not sure they know what pale ales and IPAs are, to be honest. This tasted more like some funky saison than a pale ale, much like the other pale ale of theirs that I tried. Blech.

This tastes a lot more like a saison than an IPA. Pours a hazy, light yellow, with minimal head. Aroma is very fruity, though not citrus fruit. Flavor has the weird sour-chemical taste I associate with saisons. An IPA this ain’t.

Not what I was expecting at all. A dark saison. Aroma had yeast and toasted grain. Flavor is dry, yeast at first, followed by malt flavor that reminds me of a funnel, but not nearly so sweet. Dry, very earthy aftertaste. I liked this. Carbonation is hood, with a tall head.
