Bottle: Poured a light yellow color ale with a nice pure white foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of sour peach notes with light oak notes. Taste is a really nice mix between some sour peach notes with no acidity and light oak notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well balanced overall with just enough complexity.

Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a hazy gold with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong brett, fruit, wheat. Thin mouth, wheat, brett, oak, light tartness, very good.

Tap at Penrose. They were shaving/peeling oranges for the next batch as I drank. Hazy yellow-unfiltered body. Massive foamy white head. Creamy and yeasty, this is what I want in a White IPA. The citrus hops don’t smash you over the head, but are present. The yeastiness makes this, great body. Pretty solid offering, sublime, rather excellent.

Dry hopped on tap at Penrose. Bright unfiltered yellow body, glowing, almost fluorescent. Foamy white head. Dry, wheat tinged aroma. I’m not getting any pineapple or tangerine as the menu would suggest. A pretty enjoyable saison, mellow and easy to drink. Some complex peppery, fruity yeast tones. Pretty good table saison, lacking some carbonation.

Tap at Penrose. Orange-tan body. Big, massive white head. Dry, peppery, oddball saison aroma. I want to like it, but there are a lot of borderline off tones from the high fermentation temperatures. Bready, nutty, with a steady herbal yeast undertone. Touches of sour garbage in the aroma. Grew on me....I really enjoyed the Spelt aspect.

Tap at Penrose. Hazy golden orange body. Big foamy off-white head. Pleasant mango-citrus in the aroma. Quite a well balanced Belgian IPA, with enough hops to balance out the big yeast tones. Pretty much everything you could want for the style, but lacks any traits that really throw it over the top. Grounded. Fruity depth. Well done.

12 oz. bottle from Binny’s South Loop location. Cloudy pale straw color with thin head in my snifter. Aroma is mild fruity Belgian yeast and a slightly floral hop undertone, pleasurable. Taste is an extension of the aroma.

The yeast and hops are at a great level of balance. The fruitiness from the yeast hits the tongue upfront with the hops showing a strong presence in the finish. Lightly grassy and mildly lingering pine notes. The body is in the medium range with a yeasty chewiness. No date on the bottle but it’s clear to me this is on the fresh side. Should be killer on draft!
