Can courtesy of the Duke. Opens with a small gush. Pours mostly clear gold, effervescent, with a big, foamy white head. The aroma holds lemon, pithy grapefruit and pine. Light sweet flavour with bright acidity, lemon and tangerine juice, a little balancing piney bitterness, sour wheat, nips of salt. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Cleansing finish with moderate citric bite, quenching acidity, some melon, more tangerine. Very nice 'session' sour. Quite drinkable.

On tap at Funk Factory. Pours a hazy dull gold with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has strong oak and funk notes with grass and bread backing. Flavor is similar with a combination of flora, bread, oak and funk.

Growler from the brewery. Drinks more along the lines of a good European Golden Ale than a drab US brewpub example, but I suppose also fully in line with new school US brewing profiles too. Mellow modern hop tones. Mild fruity yeast tones, pinch of white wine, brett comes out very mildly. Pretty unique.

375ML. dark reddish brown, 1 finger off white head. Smells great, slightly tart aroma with cinnamon and orange peel. Sweet with a zesty sour finish but not overly sour. great malt backbone here, barley, cinnamon, dill and oak. light vanilla, loads of lingering fig.

Small bottle, thank you AdamChandler, dark brown in color, low carbonation level. Aroma shoes me oak, bourbon nuances, raisins.
Maybe held to long?? Thin texture / body with a goons amount of dark fruit. Feels more like a Barley Wine. Where is the roast, chocolate, and brownie batter?? Way to thin / damn near watery. Pretty big swing and a miss here.

375, pitch black. 3 finger head. Oily black. Aroma is roasting and creamy like an Oreo cookie with a little bit of espresso beans and licorice flavor is a sweet finish with multi forwardness. I pretty much get zero vanilla which is really annoying
