Draft/Fest. A- Weak. A- Brown color, clear liquid, beige head. T- Watery, malty. P- Light body, thin texture, flat carbonation, watery finish. O- I've been mostly impressed with this winery's beer. This however was very watery and malty. Then again...it is a brown.

Draft/Fest. A- Coffee, cocoa, vanilla, roasty. A- Black color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Coffee, mocha, cocoa, vanilla, roasty. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- A winery that does brewery on the side? Surely it can’t be good...wrong! This was a solid beer. Tons of flavor and very robust.

750 ml bottle purchased at the Vineyard by Adrien. Aroma is a nice level of roast, hints of coffee and light molasses.
The flavor is the mild molasses with light roast upfront. Light sugar. The finish comes through with a big oak barrel finish. The red wine come through in a mild tone, nice deep tones. Really nice layers of flavor. ABV totally hidden, pretty damn nice.

Dark brown to black, almost no head. Aroma is really interesting. Lots of red-wine, very oak forward, a bit of charred wood. A lot of chocolate as well. Sweet, lots of residual sugars. chocolatey, oaky, tannic, lots of chocolate, good roast qualities. This is a really good beer. Pretty special. would love to try again.

On tap in Denver for GABF 2012. Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium white head. A big sweet nose, very malty. Smooth sweet grassy hops, a bit of candy. Not infected as earlier examples were (it seems from the ratings). Not a big standout IIPA though.
