Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Clear pale orange color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Sticky small patches of lace. Aroma of vanilla and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of vanilla, biscuit malt and wheat. The finish is sweet with a vanilla aftertaste. One-dimensional but decent for what it is.

Draft. A- Slightly sweet, bland, vanilla. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, minimal white head. T- Vanilla, slightly sweet, creamy, buttery, honey, wheat. P- Light body, creamy texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- What a surprise! I live in Nebraska and hadn’t heard of this brewery until I tried them at the Crescent Moon in Omaha. I didn’t expect much but it had a very nice strong vanilla taste and was balanced well. If this brewery produces other beers this good, I’ll be happy to drink more of their stuff!

Shaker from draft at Harvest Moon in Omaha. Orange body. Aroma is tangerine hops, bright and clean. I like it. Flavor more straightforward with lightly citric hops and clean bread malt backbone.
