Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/12/2017. Pours slightly hazy very dark brown color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky light khaki head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of milk chocolate, cocoa, pistachio nuttiness, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, cream, and toasted brown bread; with light notes of coffee, molasses, dark fruit, herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. A bit too fruity/yeasty in the aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, pistachio, cocoa, lactose, fruity yeast and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of milk chocolate, cocoa, pistachio nuttiness, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, cream, and toasted brown bread; with light notes of coffee, molasses, dark fruit, herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Very mild herbal/roast bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, pistachio nuttiness, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, cream, toasted brown bread, light coffee/molasses, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, pistachio, cocoa, lactose, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is a very good flavored English porter. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, pistachio, cocoa, lactose, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the minimal bitter finish. Not as clean on the yeast as I expected; but nicely rich, with well balanced complexity from English malts, pistachio, lactose, and cocoa. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Draft/Fest. A- Alcohol, mild cocoa. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Cumin, mild chili powder, roasty, cocoa, alcohol. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, boozy finish. O- The rum is present but gives off an odd Mexican food type of flavor. Not sure how I feel about that. Really boozy.

Draft/Fest. A- Vanilla, marshmallows, graham crackers. A- Gold color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Graham crackers, marshmallows, vanilla, mild cocoa. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- Good as hell. Infusion always kills it with these adjunct brews. They did a ton of variants on their Vanilla Bean Blonde and this one was great. Like a liquid smores. Loads of marshmallow and graham crackers. Didn't get much for chocolate, but that's okay. It was tasty without.

Bottle at a restaurant in Omaha. Aroma was really creamy - lots of vanilla, ice cream notes. Light sweet notes, malts, light creamy character. Smooth, a touch sweet, but still pretty decent.

Draft. A- Milk chocolate, slightly nutty, maple. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Pecans, maple, coffee, cocoa, sweet. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Unique flavor. I couldn't detect what exactly I was tasting until the bartender said it has hints of maple and pecan and immediately I agreed. A nice sweetness from the maple and touch of nuttiness. Good stuff after finally getting to try one of their most popular beers.

Draft. A- Apples, plum. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Tart, smarties, green apple, plums. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, refreshing finish. O- Lots of apple and plum in here and a bit of tartness. Could be a bit more sour, but otherwise like liquid candy. Pretty darn tasty.

Draft. A- Peppers, guava, floral. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Guava, bell pepper. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, astringent finish. O- The guava comes off as a vegetal taste which isn't much of a surprise. Not terrible but this beer was sort of a mess.
