Tap @ Square One. Pours a somewhat hazy, burnt orange appearance with a cream colored head. Somewhat resiny, grapefruity, toasted malty aroma. Caramel malty, somewhat citrusy, lightly spicy flavor. Pretty decent brew.

Tap @ Square One. Pours a black appearance with a dark brown head. Roasty malty, chocolate, mild coffee aroma. Roasty malty, somewhat burnt, chocolate, slightly smoky flavor. Ok.

Tap @ Square One. Pours a milky, yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Goopy, chewy yeasty, bready/grainy, lightly fruity, lemon nose. The flavor really wasn’t very appetizing with notes of bread, yeast, lemon, caramel, and grass. As a big fan of German Hefeweizens, this was a big let down.

Tap @ Square One. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a white head. Dull hops, slightly herbal, lightly grainy aroma. Not a ton going on in the flavor with some pale malts, light lemon, and straw.

Bottle shared by Kan, thanks. Pours a near clear reddish amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is quite acetone with a bit of sour cherry. Flavor starts slightly sweet with cherry but quickly becomes full of acetone cherry that burns the back of the throat intensely.

Growler thanks to weeheavysd. Pours with a clear golden body and a small white head. Aroma of hops, brett and dry grain. Taste is fruity, bready and minty. Dry and quite nice.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a hazed amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with notes of spice and malt. Light, clean body with flavors of tart fruit, bready malt and yeast. The finish is fruity with a mild spice aftertaste. More or less average overall.

Cask at the brewpub, served in a snifter. The beer is a dark reddish-orange color with a minimal off-white head that disappears almost immediately. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel and oak. Rich, syrupy body with flavors of sherry, raisins, caramel malt and more oak. The finish is chewy and boozy with earthy malt and dark fruit left behind. Pretty good beer overall, one of the better ones to come out of this establishment.

On draught at the brewpub. This beer is a dark amber color with a thin and wispy light beige head that recedes to a film quickly. Latticework lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark malt, brown sugar and alcohol. Rich and chewy body with flavors of caramel malt, sweet booze, fruit and bitter hops. The finish is earthy malt and caramel with a hops and creeping alcohol aftertaste. Overall seems a bit disjointed but in the 1/2 pint serving I had it was decent.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a slightly hazed orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes slowly. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and pine. Medium to full body with a piney hops character that has sweet fruit and malt behind it. The finish is resiny hops with a lingering bitterness left behind. Decent overall.
