We’re part of the fabric of a centuries-old community, a culture defined by the adventurous spirit of 17th-century French-Canadian merchants, the raw determination of settlers who came to log and farm; the visionary industrialists who established paper mills, breweries, canneries and other businesses; and the pioneers of transportation who connected our community to the rest of the nation by rail.

Cask at the brewpub. Hazy orange, thin frothy white head, good retention. Bartender was not used to pouring from a cask but she did it perfectly. Aroma of butter rum, pale malt, oak, vanilla. Taste is spice, citrus, rum, oak. Thin. Solid.

12 ounce bottle. Last tick before I head to Titletowntown (Green Bay) for vacay. Best consumed by 10/18/17, even though I bought it two weeks ago. Clear dark amber, thin foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malt, grainy malt, caramel, mild hops. Taste is toasted grainy malt, mild floral and citrus hops. Medium bodied, crisp. Maybe the hops have fallen off a bit, but still a solid marzen.
