Description
Legendary Place. Legendary Taste.

For going on a century, “Green Bay” has been synonymous with professional football, a place where guts meet grit on the field of play, and the gridiron greats of nine decades live on. Those who call Green Bay home couldn’t be prouder of that link.

At the same time, we’re also aware of our unique place in Wisconsin’s history.

We’re part of the fabric of a centuries-old community, a culture defined by the adventurous spirit of 17th-century French-Canadian merchants, the raw determination of settlers who came to log and farm; the visionary industrialists who established paper mills, breweries, canneries and other businesses; and the pioneers of transportation who connected our community to the rest of the nation by rail.

Both histories — our connection to the Green-and-Gold and our link to a storied cultural past — come together within the historic walls of Titletown.

The spirit of the community is embodied by the Titletown family and our commitment to delivering personalized, authentic experiences to our guests.

And that in itself is legendary.

Not bad. Flavor’s for the most part really good with a slight toffee roastiness, but also a bit medicinal in the finish. Fairly decent drop though. I’ll have more.

Draft at Vintage. White wine and caramel malt aroma. Amber with moderate head. Moderately sweet vinous caramel malt and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Okay body. Wine dominates.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a white head. Lovely citrus aroma, if not exactly ultra dank or spiky. Old school pleasant, so to speak. Medium body, very soft on the palate, subdued swet fruitiness but generally fairly dry. Also ends dry with a not too bitter aftertaste. 170516

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a deep, clear red with a dissipating off-white head. Nose is a little dusty caramel. Medium body, luckily not overly sweet, way more to the dry side. Dry finish. No hop emphasis really. 170516

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2015. Pours a hazy deep amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sour cherry with light funk and red wine supporting. Flavor has a kind of sweet red wine note with a bit of tartness and a decent amount of funk.

Tap/Growler because it was that good. Clear light/orange in color. Big fizzy head. Aroma is big with Citra aromas. Very fruity/tropical and nicely dry hopped. Taste is citra again; with pineapple, orange, melon and just a bit of pine. Light biscuity malt backbone. Thin bodied with almost no bitterness. Very reminiscent of a session style IPA.

On tap @ Titletown. Pour is a clear amber in color. Creamy white head dissapates quickly leaving a thin film behind with sheets of lacing. Aroma is distinctly toasted malt; not alot of hop presence here. Taste is a different story. Strong earthy, woody hops abound. Lightly toasted Breiss malt compliments this. Low carbonation with a fairly dry and bitter finish. A unique Local! treasure.
