(Can, 0.355l, thanks tiong, at VastActiv, 20230518) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and creamy coffee. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, coffee, dark chocolate, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, coffee and bitterness. A delicious burnt brew with pleasant coffee notes.

Pint draft at Orange & Brew. (Just now Hailstorm's description buried on their Facebook page. No info on their website. Will update.) Looks like a basic amber beer, with a nice thin layer of foam. Smell had a bit of perfumey vanilla. Strawberry comes out pretty nicely in the taste. Vanilla becomes a part of the complement. There's a little note of extra tartness that I'm guessing might have been whatever made up the cheesecake. Lactic acid, perhaps. And also some graham cracker crumb.

Bottle share at Orange & Brew. Not surprising, from the name, that there's a lot of cocoa and vanilla in the nose. Still a few bubbles on the edge of the glass after a pour for a 2-year-old beer. Does indeed taste like a chocolate chip cookie, with a little extra cookie sugar. Any bourbon in this is way in the background. Still, it verges into the chocolate licquer territory. And there ain't nothing wrong with that.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2022. Pours a cloudy peachy gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a creamy slightly sour lime with some graham cracker underlying. Flavor has sour lime with lactose and a graham cracker backbone.
