Pint can from Ridgeview Liquor, 6.1.21. Hazy orange large creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of toast, toffee, vanilla, raisin. Taste is sweet toffee, caramel, brown sugar, dark fruits, booze, white sugar. Full bodied. Very sweet but enough booze to balance. Intense. Almost too much but it works.

Can, courtesy of Drake. Pours very dark red. Roast, burnt, liquorice, prune, leather. Medium body. Not great. An unfortunate end to the doppelbock back to back to back experience.

Growler. Thick brown-black body, translucent edges. Rich and malty, heavy handed like most Black Husky beers. Lacks any real similarity to an authentic version. Chocolate, caramel, mild hop balance. An OK enough Brown Ale, but calling it an Alt is a stretch....new 2023 version is/was 7.4 percent..drinks like an Imperial Alt, a sloppy beast. A lot of caramel heavy malt tone. No real balance. Unique, but not so well executed

Howler from the brewery. I like this one a bit better than the black currant variation. The rhubarb and cranberry come off very extractalicious, but that is fine; the flavors work well together. A little bit of a funky cheesy aroma. Unfiltered pink-red body. Pretty good.

16oz can. Hazy, unfiltered yellow body. Oily residue of a head. Buttery unimpressive aroma. Weak sauce. Tastes like it isn't even finished. No crispness, nothing really to style. Really shows off the lack of finesse and expertise in Black Husky beer. In no way a Pils...maybe a weak ass Landbier/Keller type creature if you want to be nice. Not that good.
