Pale golden ale with aroma of fresh hops. Nice crisp malts with light hops in finish. Lighter bodied, and quaffable. July 30 04.

Golden IPA with a light hoppy aroma. Very intense hops, dry and bilous. Needs more malts for balance. Lots of lemon and grapefruits. Metallic finish.

Red copper ale with light malt and hops aroma. Matly and nutty beer wit a nice smooth hops in finish. Medium bodied. July 30 04.

Tap at the BR, called Wobbly Bob Stout. July 30. Deep black stout with no head. Light roasted malt aroma. Rather watery stout with too much lactic notes. Some hops in finis but not much else.

2003 (3.8) - From a sampler: This is the first year's batch named in celebration of the birth of one of the brewer's sons. The beer is a dark amber color with a thick and foamy light beige head and minimal lacing. The aroma is smokey with caramel and malt in the background. Rich and sweet with caramel, malt and toffee flavors. The finish is strong and sweet with alcohol coming through on the back end. This seemed a little unbalanced despite being aged for a year, but still a solid beer.
2004 - From a sampler: This is the 2nd beer so named for the birth of one of the brewer's sons. This year's batch is the same dark amber color but with virtually no head where last year's was very thick. No lacing either. The aroma is heady and sweet with malt and caramel. The body is rich and smooth, with a well-balanced blend of malt, caramel, chocolate and toffee flavors. The finish is rich and sweet with a touch of hops. This batch is a little better than the 2003 version in my opinion.

From a sampler: This ale is a very dark brown color with a medium thick beige head. Thin and solid lacing. The aroma is mildly malty with some brown sugar and caramel. Full-bodied for a Brown Ale, with a surprisingly smooth mixture of malt, caramel, nuts and toffee. The finish is smooth as well making this a pretty good session ale.

From a sampler: This brew is a clear amber color with a minimal off-white head. Almost no lacing. Nice floral hops/citrus aroma. Medium-bodied and adequately bitter from start to finish, with some citrus and malt flavors as well. The finish is bitter and lingering but not that tasty. Overall this is a satisfactory IPA.

From a sampler: Pours a rich amber color witha medium light beige head. Decent lacing. The aroma is fairly malty, with caramel and hops also detectable. The flavor is not overly bitter, and it has a strong malt backbone. The finish is alternating malt and hops. Not too bad.

From a sampler: This beer pours a hazy dark yellow color with a medium thick and foamy white head. The aroma is somewhat wheaty with a touch of hops. No real lacing to speak of. Kind of thin body, with a smooth and mild character. It's really not all that wheaty and the finish was on the bland side. Not one of their better attempts.
