Appearance: dark orange to amber in color with a one and a quarter fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace Aroma: big bold mango sweetness intertwining with habanero spicy and sweet tones Flavor: does a pretty nice job of blending the mangoes to the habanero spiciness; finishes with the habaneros jumping in front of the mangoes just a wee little bit Texture: medium bodied, this is surely a sipper; light smoothness but also some habanero burn (luckily, it's not overly done) Overall: what a palate wrecker for the most part! to have any other beer after this that night would greatly be a mistake!
Sharp bitterness, almost artificially so and a little bit of a lingering waxy flavor. Thin flavor in the body and heavily carbonated. WAY off the mark of a classic English bitter.
The orange is natural citrus and a little bit of rind/zest - I was expecting a little more of an artificially sweet orange flavor, but it’s a nice easy drinker.
