Flat pale pilsner with a light sweetly hopped aroma, and a malty and slightly dry flavour. Overall a slightly too sweet brew.

tap-Hazy golden beer with light aroma of spices and bananas, which come out nicely in mouthfeel, with more pronounced spices. lighter bodied beer.

Hazy nut brown. Big creamy off-white head. Crisp banana aroma. Crisp carbonated mouthfeel, some sweet banana taste. Aftertaste a bit sour and roasted.

Lager color. Lively carbonation. Nice foamy and steady white head. Strong banana aroma. Hefeweizen banana flavor, crisp carbonated mouthfeel. Refreshing but I like Franziskaner unfiltered hefeweizen more.

Perfect big white foamy head! Typical hazy orange weizen color as well as sweet banana aroma. Smooth palate, taste is weizen-like sweet banana with citron flavor bitterness. Dry finish. This is another excellent hefeweizen!

Smells skunky. Ordinary, average gold in color, with a small white head. Slightly spicy wheat flavor, but is nothing special. It's drinkable, but kinda bland and average.

Classic hazy, rich brown color under an enormous wheat induced whip cream head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, and fruity banana. The same as the lighter version, but witha tad more maltiness in the aroma and palate. I'll take the Dunkel over the Helles anyday. A nice beer.

Nice hazy gold color as is expected in a good Hefeweizen. Rich head and nice aroma of yeast, wheat and fruity banana. Smooth and filling. Very refreshing. Not the best, but a very good one.

I prefer the original Weizen over the Krystal style. Other than that, this is a decent brew. It has the head and color (although clear) and the aroma is intact as well. The filtering removes some of the flavor, but what is left is not bad. The filtering probably extends the shelf life a tad as well.

Acquired via trade. Pours a clear amber color with minimal carbonation and a medium thin off-white head. Thin and quick lacing. The aroma is malty and skunked (green bottle issue?). Medium-bodied with a yin and yang of sweetness and skunkiness throughout, this ended up being a drain pour. The malt and caramel flavors simply could not compete with the unpleasant skunkiness. The finish kept with the theme. I will have to try to seek a fresher bottle out for a re-taste.
