Draft at the brew pub on 6 Nov, 2014. Deep brown that light does not penetrate. Head is foamy and lasting. Aroma is walnuts, praline, earthy hints and toasted grains, when warm the aroma is nice.
Flavor up front shows toffee, roasted nuts, finishing with subtle hopping that gives a mild pine and earth note. The hops provide balance that helps divide the sweetness. Medium in body with normal level of Co2. Nice, drinkable Brown.

Draft at Da pub in a 16 oz. Pint, shows a mostly clear gold liquid with very weak head retention. Aroma is very mild leafy green hops and some grain.
Flavor has sweet biscuit malt flavor and balanced by a leafy hop character. Lacks real depth or complexity, but very drinkable and falls in the genre of style. Light body with a soft carbonation level, finish is very clean with no lingering bitterness.

4 oz. sample at Powder Keg Chili and Beer fest, Exeter, NH. Thick frothy head, can’t tell where the head ends and the liquid begins. Aroma is a faint malt and grain scent. The body is on the lighter side of medium with a creamy mouth feel. Flavor is mellow with a bit of grain coming across throughout the sip with mild hop bitterness balancing it out. Overall, I think my grandfather would love the hell out of this beer.

4 oz. sample at the Brew Pub. Hazy bright gold color with dense, full head that laced the mini glass. Aroma is honey and grain.
The body is light with a creamy texture with a sweet honey finish. The honey is found through out the sip with toasted grain and a mild hint of lemon. Sweet without being cloying. Very easy to drink and hits the example of the style the brewer was after. Lots of people drinking this in the pub tonight. Light refreshing summer drinker.
