Description
Twin Lakes is an American artisanal brewery preserving the art of brewing. 10 years ago a group of friends who shared a passion for home-brewing came together over their love of the craft, and decided to form a brewery that followed the time-honored methods of great brewing using only the best ingredients. We use only deep aquifer well-water, the finest grains, 100% whole-flower hops, and cultured yeast.

Our Master Brewers adhere to traditional brewery methods by making beer that is steam brewed, gravity-fed, unfiltered and unpasteurized, to provide our customers with a truly delicious craft beer experience. Naturally brewed with a passion to be Fresh-Local-Delicious, at Twin Lakes we don’t make extreme beers, just extremely drinkable beers.

Pours hazy gold into a pint glass. Bright white micro head with good retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Mild sourdough and resin aromas. Sweet caramel and candy corn upfront turning to a sour, bitter resin finish.

Can: Weak aroma of whole orange. Hazy amber, medium billowy yellow head. Sweet for the style. Orange soda initially, but finishes more malty and beery. Marshmallow also present. Not cloying, but again too sweet for the style. Possibly artificial.

On tap, Look is pale lager with a nice creamy head. Smell is a little sickly, almost putrid but in a nice kinda beery way, heheh. Bitter first taste. Has a sort of weird fruity or sterile something going on here. Almost plastic or artificial, certainly unique. Yes, a strong APA fer sure.

Dark brown with a tan head. Roasted malts, light cocoa, a bit of coffee, but this aroma is straight forward with few frills. SImilar flavor with the roasted malts and medium hops being the only real players. Nothing to the extreme with this stout just one to open when you want a session a few dark beers. (Draught at Standard Tap)

Lightly toasted malts, some herbal notes with the faqintest citrus. Light caramel, too. Rather bitter and bites at the tongue. A solid brew, though, aqnd one i’d come back to.
