Established in 2014, Gnarly Barley Brewing is located in a 10,500 square foot facility in Hammond, Louisiana and consists of a two-vessel 30bbl Brewhouse, one hot and one cold liquor tank, five fermentation vessels, one bright beer tank and a whole lot of passion for craft beer.

On tap at Emporium NOLA. Pours a clear light straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of grain and hay with a slight sweetness supporting. Flavor has lots of hay with a good amount of grain with a hint of biscuit in the finish.

Draft. Hazy golden beer with a cream head. Light dank aroma. Dank and earthy flavor with light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Dankness and earthiness linger with light grapefruit.

500ml bottle from Tavour. Dark brown pour with a short lived fizzy head. Boozy rum aroma greets you when you pop the cap, after that it's sweet malts, brown sugar. Taste is sweet, chocolate and rum, light roasty malts detectable underneath. Creamy with a dry finish. Warm.

12oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow pour, frothy white head. Aroma is citrus with some light tropical notes in the background. Taste is light fruity flavors, malty, bready notes, and it almost feels like an oat whip. Very creamy and smooth.
