Description

Draft at Churchkey, courtesy of Nahem and crowd, thanks! Cloudy yellow, edge head. Aroma of orange juice. Taste is slightly sour citrus, with a nice malt balance. One of the most creative and unique beers I’ve had recently, a very pleasant surprise.

This Dunkel poured a dirsty dark red colour with an almost non-existant bright white head. To the nose there are scents of ripe fruit, raisins, alcohol and spice. First sip was smooth with flavours of tea, apple cider, spice, hopps and raisins. Finish is slightly bitter with a warming alcohol vapour lingering.

(swing top bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Lemon-fruity and slightly resiny hoppy aroma with a sweet malty background, accompanied by traces of alcohol. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Almost a bit slim cara-malty base with lemon-fruity and slightly piney hops; sweet and moderately hop bitter finish with almost ethereally and lingering hop flavours. 27.X.10
