Flavor: It is fairly sweet, but not cloying, solidly complex, and rather flavorful
Palate: This beer has a medium body, a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel, and spicy finish

Aroma: The aroma is citrus juice, a little rind as well, with some caramel notes.
Appearance: This one pours an unclear orange, with a small white head, and streaky lace.
Flavor: The taste is bitter citrus and rind, there's a light sweetness as well.
Palate: It has a medium body, a softer carbonation, and long, dry finish.
Overall Impression: Really a pretty enjoyable example of the style. I felt like the overall quality at Wedge was right on, and this is an example of that.

Location: Draft at The Admiral, Asheville, 1/2/15

Aroma: Has a sweet chocolate aroma, with some caramel malts, as well as some roasted notes.
Appearance: It has a dark brown pour, with a light brown head, and fairly coating lace.
Flavor: It has a somewhat sweet flavor, similar to the nose, a mild bitterness balances it.
Palate: Medium bodied, with a rather creamy, smooth, and clean feel, and a soft carbonation.
Overall Impression: I quite enjoyed this one. It is a sweeter porter, but not to the point of being unpleasant or cloying. There's some balance here. It is very easy drinking and quaffable as well, which is always a plus. I was very high on this.

Aroma: The aroma is pine hops, floral notes, some light fruit, and a little caramel.
Appearance: A slightly cloudy orange color, with a white head, and some medium lace.
Flavor: The taste leans bitter, with a lightly sweet balancing flavor as well.
Palate: It is medium-plus bodied, with average carbonation, and a dry finish.
Overall Impression: This one actually kind of grew on me. At first taste I probably would have had it lower in the 3 range, but after a pint I settled here.
